The ICCN is the semi-autonomous government agency responsible for managing protected areas in the DRC. The ICCN’s mandate is to monitor and patrol these protected areas, collect and analyze field data, and facilitate tourism opportunities where possible. The ICCN has been working with the Bombo Lumene Foundation since its inception in 2021.
